Rani Bruchstein is a Barcelona-based visual artist working between carefully constructed portraiture and instinctive street photography. His practice explores how emotion becomes visible through gesture, silence, presence and the changing atmosphere of the city.
Practice
Bruchstein builds portraits through sustained attention rather than forced expression, allowing emotional states to surface through conversation, gesture and presence. Barcelona’s streets and shifting light form a parallel field for his observational work.
