On August 12, 2026, the Sun disappears. For a few minutes, in a narrow corridor crossing Iceland and northern Spain, daylight stops. I have been thinking about this for weeks — not the astronomy, but what it feels like to stand inside a moment you cannot hold. That is exactly what dance does. This is the story of an eclipse, a king who danced as the Sun, a woman who made light dance, and the paintings that carry all of it forward.
