Simon Carter

Simon Carter photographic work is about skilled human movement, particularly in a non-competitive arena, and circus & contemporary dance in particular. His photography is rooted in his own performance practice as a juggler, acro-balancer & stilt dancer. "I often look for moments of transition, the point milliseconds after the peak of a movement, when the performer’s mood and movement changes."
