Certificates of Authenticity
Dance Artworks Gallery uses a clear certificate model so collectors can understand who issues the edition documentation and what accompanies the work.
Artist Editions
Artist-issued limited editions are presented as Artist Editions. They include two Certificates of Authenticity: the artist-issued certificate, signed by the artist, and a Dance Artworks Gallery Certificate of Authenticity documenting the gallery sale and edition record.
Gallery Editions
Gallery-managed editions are presented as Gallery Editions. They include a Dance Artworks Gallery Certificate of Authenticity. This includes gallery-managed open-edition fine-art works. The Gallery Edition designation identifies the gallery-issued edition and documentation model; it does not imply a numbered limited edition unless an edition size is explicitly stated on the artwork page.
Edition Details
For numbered limited editions, the artwork page states the recorded edition size and any edition number assigned to the purchased work. Artist proofs are identified separately where applicable.
Original Works
Original artwork pages identify the unique work, artist, medium, dimensions and relevant signature or documentation details. Dance Artworks Gallery maintains the gallery transaction record for works acquired through the gallery.
Fine Art Licensed Photography
Licensed curated photography is identified as Fine Art Licensed Photography. The artwork page presents the relevant format, production and licensing information for the selected work.
Gallery Records
Dance Artworks Gallery maintains artwork, edition and transaction records appropriate to the work sold through the gallery. For a certificate or provenance question about a specific work, contact office@idancecontemporary.gallery and include the artwork title, artist and any edition or certificate reference available.
