Choosing the Right Print for Your Space
Scale is one of the most important decisions in placing fine art. A print that is too small disappears on a wall; one that is too large can overwhelm a room. This guide is designed to help collectors and interior designers select the right size and framing for every context — from a private study to a hotel lobby.
Standard Print Sizes
All Dance Artworks Gallery prints are available in the following standard sizes. Custom dimensions are available on request for B2B and interior design projects.

Note: Dimensions refer to the image area. Framed dimensions will be larger depending on frame profile and mount width.
Wall Placement Guidelines
- Eye level: Hang the centre of the artwork at approximately 145–150 cm from the floor — the standard gallery hanging height.
- Breathing room: Allow at least 20–30 cm of unobstructed wall space around the print on all sides.
- Above furniture: When hanging above a sofa or bed, leave 15–25 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
- Groupings: For multi-print arrangements, maintain consistent 5–10 cm gaps between frames for a gallery-wall effect.
Framing Options
Unframed Fine Art Print
Shipped flat-packed or rolled in a protective tube (for larger sizes). Ideal for collectors who prefer to frame locally with their own framer, or for works destined for custom installations.
Standard Gallery Frame (Black or White)
Minimalist profile in FSC-certified wood. Includes UV-filter acrylic glazing and acid-free mount. Available for all standard sizes. This is our recommended option for residential and hospitality interiors.
Museum Float Frame
The print is mounted with a visible gap between the image and the frame edge, creating a floating effect. Ideal for large-format works and contemporary interiors. Available in black, white, and natural oak.
Alu-Dibond (Aluminium Composite)
The print is face-mounted directly onto a 3mm aluminium composite panel. No frame required — the work is hung flush to the wall on a hidden rail system. Exceptionally durable and ideal for hospitality and commercial environments. Available for selected collections (FX Pelissier Monochrome Motion, Marc Feld CIRCUS).
Plexiglas Face-Mount
The print is mounted behind 4mm museum-grade acrylic, creating extraordinary depth and luminosity. The preferred format for high-end collectors and gallery installations. Available for selected works.

Care & Maintenance
- Avoid direct sunlight — UV exposure causes fading even on archival prints over time.
- Maintain indoor humidity below 60% RH to prevent paper warping.
- Clean acrylic glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth — never use solvent-based cleaners.
- For unframed prints in storage, keep flat in an acid-free portfolio or rolled loosely in archival tissue.
