Biography
Tyler McAuley is a Chicago-based photographer and artist working across fine-art portraiture, dance and movement. His practice uses lighting, composition and a theatre-informed sensitivity to gesture and timing to create images that move between physical precision and emotional tension.
Practice
McAuley approaches movement as both choreography and psychology. Dramatic light, monochrome structure and carefully timed gesture turn the body into a narrative device rather than a purely formal subject.
