Practice
Malfreyt paints the body as a field of energy — layered, directional, alive. Inspired by the chronophotography of Eadweard Muybridge, she studies the silhouette in motion: spinning, turning, reaching toward light. Her surfaces vibrate, capturing light in ways that blur the boundaries between tangible reality and dreamlike states.
