Biography

Nir Arieli is a New York-based photographer working across dance company photography, movement, fine art, commissioned campaigns and portraiture. His practice approaches the moving body through portraiture, direction and choreographic relationships, treating physical intelligence and human presence as central photographic material.

Practice

Arieli works between portraiture and dance photography, constructing images through direction, proximity and the relationships between bodies rather than treating performance as simple documentation.
