Sasha Onyshchenko
Sasha Onyshchenko is a fine art photographer whose practice merges dance vocabulary with museum-grade photographic aesthetics. Working in both monochrome and colour, Onyshchenko creates images that emphasise the sculptural clarity and architectural geometry of the dancer’s body. Limited editions are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm cotton paper with archival pigment inks, signed and numbered on the reverse.
Onyshchenko photographs the body as architecture — the back, the hands, the precise geometry of a pose that contains within it the full vocabulary of the dancer’s training. His monochrome works align graphic structure with sculptural presence; his colour works explore femininity, metamorphosis, and the threshold between the natural and the choreographed.
